Very beautiful and interesting building set in lovely gardens, yet in town centre.
Car access can be a problem.
House is very lovely, elegant design with lots of original features.
Very good location close to old centre and beaches. Handy for Lisbon airport- just half hour drive. Beautiful building and garden. Welcoming staff.
Hard bed.Difficult to unload cases in narrow one way road. Have to park in station car park. No fridge in room.
Excellent staff who were very welcoming and accomodating. Excellent location in Cascais. Magnificent old world house.
Lack of facilities in bedrooms, tea coffee making etc
The house is a gem and the staff is great. It is so peaceful and the breakfast is fabulous. We also met at 'porto time' great people and we had a good group going for some days.
Casa Pergola is a beautiful old town house right in the middle of Cascais, and only a few minutes walk from the railway station. Despite its location it is a peaceful haven of old-fashioned luxury. It is stuffed with antique furniture,, artefacts and paintings and has the most gorgeous front garden with plenty of shady arbours. Our room was at the front which was lovley as it had a balcony overlooking the garden. It was furnished and decorated really tastefully in a period style, and had fantastic old fitted cupboards, a walk in dressing room and a huge gold marble bathroom. The staff were really nice & spoke perfect English, and the breakfast included in the price was really superb. All in all I would give it 100% and have already started recommending it to my friends.
Location, charming residence, accommodating hosts
beds were very hard
Wonderful b&B. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful property, perfect location, and lovely staff.
This is an old, charming house, nice azulejos and balconies.
However, it is not very comfortable: no airconditioning (Portuguese summers are really hot), no tv, carpet not that clean. For 150eur we paid for one night I expected much more.
Beds hard, plumbing loud, very little sleep due to rowdy guests, allowed to sleep on balcony adjoining ours, we had paid extra for!
Perfect location, perfect staff, just like at home. The house is so beautiful. If we visit Cascais, we definately will stay here again. We stayed in Room No. 15 and believe this is one of the best rooms in this house.
The home is beautiful and well kept and it is a city attraction in itself. Staff is friendly and the location fabulous. The hotel complements the European flavor to any visit to the area. Since you will be visiting Royal Palaces and Castles might as well stay in someting comparable! Well worth the money.
Quiet atmosphere may make families with younger children a bit self conscious. Staff however made us feel comfortable and welcome.
our stay was fantastic, close to everything e.g transportation, restaurants, beach, parks, shopping mall, museums, church. The best was the garden, serene and calm.
Comfortable. Welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Not far from beach. Very nice room with balcony. Would certainly recommend it!
On only one occasion the shower didn't start warming up until I had almost finished!
